Like many industries, marketing has been upended by technological advancements in the way people communicate and consume media. In short, the internet has changed the way companies are used to talking to their potential customers.
Basically the consumer has become the user and ads are now (at best) just one part of a larger interactive experience. So people like me have had to adapt and figure out just what captures the awareness of an audience with infinitely expanding options and a correspondingly shrinking attention span.
Regardless of the technology, the goal is the same — crafting a message that gets noticed by and has meaning to the people it’s intended for.
I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with talented people to create campaigns, websites and events that have dramatically increased brand awareness and sales for our clients. Some of the resulting work has been awarded by peers and published internationally.
